The Indian Government has launched a massive crackdown on adult streaming apps and illegal betting websites. 25 apps including ULLU, ALTBalaji, DesiFlicks and others have been officially banned for violating IT Rules.
అస్లీల కంటెంట్ స్ట్రీమింగ్ ప్లాట్‌ఫామ్‌లపై కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ కొరడా ఝాలిపించింది. నిబంధనలకు విరుద్ధంగా అభ్యంతర కంటెంట్‌తో అశ్లీల చిత్రాలను ప్రసారం చేస్తోన్న మాధ్యమాలపై నిషేధం విధించింది. వీటిలో ఆల్ట్ బాలాజీ, దేశీ ఫ్లిక్స్, ఉల్లు యాప్ మొదలైన వాటిని చట్టవిరుద్ధ కంటెంట్ ప్రదర్శిస్తున్న కారణంగా నిషేధించారు.అనుచిత కంటెంట్ విస్తరిస్తున్న వైనాన్ని అరికట్టడానికి, భారత ప్రభుత్వ సమాచార, ప్రసార మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ 25 అశ్లీల వెబ్‌సైట్‌లకు ప్రజలకు అందుబాటులో లేకుండా నిలిపివేయాలని ఇంటర్నెట్ సర్వీస్ ప్రొవైడర్లకు నోటిఫికేషన్ జారీ చేసింది.

📌 Govt has also blocked 1,524 gambling & betting platforms since 2022.
⚖️ Platforms that ignore this ban may face legal action and penalties under Indian law.
